KAHANI ARTS is a multi-disciplinary arts & entertainment focussed organisation based in Muswell Hill, that seeks to platform Global Majority artists who are currently under-represented in the creative industries.
As a not-for-profit community interest company, we aim to bring about social cohesion and improve inclusivity amongst the communities by sharing our stories, culture and history to challenge perceptions and create an open dialogue through engagement with the arts.
Across every project, Kahani Arts CIC champions creativity that reflects, inspires, and educates, celebrating the diverse voices that shape British Asian culture today.
We will…
1. Create work that reflects, inspires, excites and educates audiences with art, culture, stories and values from the Global Majority.
2. Engage Global Majority artists in training, development, workshop , creation and production of creative works that benefit audiences and participants alike.
3. Nurture the next generation of artists and support their artistic expression through education, development, collaboration and promotion.
