KAHANI ARTS is a multi-disciplinary arts organisation based in the London borough of Redbridge that platforms British South Asian artists who are currently under-represented in the industry.

As a not-for-profit community interest company, we aim to bring about social cohesion and improve inclusivity amongst the local community by sharing our stories, culture and history to challenge perceptions and create an open dialogue through engagement with the arts.

We will… 

1.      Create work that reflects, inspires, excites and educates the audience about British South Asian art, culture, stories and values. 

2.      Engage local South Asian artists in Redbridge and beyond in the creation, development, workshop and production of creative works that benefit audiences and participants alike. 

3.      Nurture the next generation of South Asian artists and support their artistic expression through education, development, collaboration and promotion.
